Pearl Jam’s members have a long history of advocating for worthy causes, and this year, COVID-19 prevention is one of them. Recently, guitarist Stone Gossard filmed a PSA in partnership with the Washington State Department of Health to encourage Washingtonians to download the WA Notify app. The app uses Bluetooth to alert users if they have come in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 so they can quarantine and take action to avoid spreading the virus.
